1. Payment Terms and Conditions

1.1. Service Fees
The fees for the RTI Support Services ("Services") are specified in the service agreement and must be paid in advance. Different service levels, such as Basic Support and Premium Support, are priced accordingly as outlined in the respective service descriptions.

1.2. Payment Methods
Payments can be made through various accepted methods, including online payment gateways, bank transfers, or any other payment methods specified by the Company.

1.3. Invoicing
Upon receipt of payment, the Company will issue a confirmation receipt to the Client. This receipt will serve as proof of payment for the Services rendered.

1.4. Late Payment
If payment is not received by the specified due date, the Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Services until the payment is made in full. Any delay in payment may also result in additional fees or charges as deemed necessary by the Company.

1.5. Non-Refundable Fees
All service fees are non-refundable, except in specific cases outlined in the refund policy.

2. Refund Policy

2.1. No Refund for Drafted RTI
Once the RTI application has been drafted and sent to the client for approval, the service fee becomes non-refundable.

2.2. Refunds Before Drafting

Refunds may be considered only if the RTI application has not yet been drafted. The following conditions apply:

2.2.1. No RTI Discussion Initiated

If the client has not engaged in any substantial discussion regarding the RTI, a refund may be issued after a 10% deduction from the total amount paid, to cover administrative costs. This applies to refund requests initiated by the client.

2.2.2. RTI Discussed but Incomplete Submission

If the RTI matter has been discussed but the client fails to provide the required information or documents necessary for drafting, and remains unresponsive for a reasonable period, a 50% refund may be issued at the Company’s discretion, even without a formal refund request.

All refunds under this clause are subject to internal review and approval.

2.3. Service Failure
In the event of service failure, where Bima Samadhan is unable to file the RTI application due to technical or legal constraints, the client will be promptly updated. A full refund will be initiated, which will be credited to the client's account within 7 working days.

2.4. Additional Fees
Any additional fees that arise after the initial payment, such as fees required by public authorities for releasing information, are not subject to refund. The responsibility for these additional fees lies solely with the client.

2.5. Processing Time for Refunds
Once a refund is approved, it will be processed within 7 working days and issued through the same payment method used for the original transaction.

3. Governing Law

These Payment Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ludhiana (Punjab), India.
